Brian and Natalie Rickards have been foster parents with Children and Families First for the past 6 years. During this time, they have provided regular foster care and respite services to over 13 children, and they have adopted 6 children. The Rickards, compassionate and generous, have made their home a model for all foster parents. One of their six adopted children, Amari, is a child with significant special needs, and the Rickards have met the challenges of raising Amari with the same unwavering love and support they have shown for each child under their care. Their six children all are unique individuals reflecting various cultural heritages, and Natalie and Brian celebrate the diversity of their large family. Although the Rickards started their adoption journey with no intention of becoming foster parents, their loving and unselfish personalities have led them to open their home and hearts.
