When three siblings were placed in foster care due to domestic violence and homelessness, Michael and Andrea Marinelli were there to save the day. They adopted Michael (6), Christian (5), and Tiffany (4) through the Suffolk County Department of Social Services on April 14. 2005. They have provided a safe, nurturing, and loving environment while meeting each of the children's individual needs. Prior to the adoption, all three children demonstrated very challenging behaviors. The children endured an extremely traumatic early childhood resulting in behavioral issues that have impacted their lives. Since placement in the Marinelli home, however, all three children have made tremendous progress with their behavioral and development needs. Through amazing dedication and perseverance, the Marinellis have provided them with a second chance, a promising future, and the ability to preserve their sibling bonds.
