Representatives Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan would like to nominate Allen and Kristina Lindeman for the 2005 Angels in Adoption (tm) award because of their strong commitment to providing a loving environment to children who have not previously had that opportunity. As the biological parents of two grown sons and the adoptive parents of four special needs children, the Lindemans were recognized as the 2003 Special Needs Adoptive Family of the Year in North Dakota. In addition, the family is currently working to adoption another child who has been placed in their home for foster care. The Lindemans clearly derive a great deal of joy from parenting children and sharing their love with others.
