La Casita de Paz is a wonderful and comforting place for children who have been taken by Child Protective Services and are waiting for a home to go to, whether it is a foster home or back to their parents. La Casita de Paz has been open since 1992 and now has two locations in Pinal County - Casa Grande and Apache Junction. Staff at La Casita de Paz make it their personal mission to ensure that each child is treated with love and respect during a very difficult and often traumatic time is his or her young life. Currently, 13 children are staying in the Casa Grande home and 5 in the Apache Junction home. The work this agency does is very important to the community. They help children cope and adjust so that they go on with their lives. Often, the work these folks do goes unnoticed and unpraised. It is our wish to say thank you to them for the work they do in helping the children of Pinal County and, in particular, our beloved children in Casa Grande, AZ.
