Since the inception of AdoptUSKids in 2002, Mrs. Holtan, M.A., M.S.W., has been its Executive Director. AdoptUSKids is a national initiative that is funded by the Children's Bureau to promote the adoption of children from the United States who are waiting to find homes. With Mrs. Holtan at the helm, AdoptUSKids has found permanent adoptive families for more htan 4,000 children. Prior to becoming the Executive Director of AdoptUSKids, Mrs. Holtan worked with religious-based organizations in promoting the adoption of waiting children. She has presented nationally and internationally on numerous topics related to adoption and is acknowledged as an expert in her field. Mrs. Holtan and her husband Andy are the parents of three adult adopted children and two birth children.
