Brenda and Herman Crump have opened their home and hearts to 25 special needs children. For the last 15 years the Crumps have tirelessly devoted their lives to helping needy children. They have been devoted foster parents to children from age 4 to 14. Prior to becoming foster parents, the Crumps owned a family day care center where they cared for and nurtured their community's children. The "Christ and Crumps Child Care Services" care for some 50 children. The Crumps are currently parents to one birth child, six adoptive children, and three foster children. The couple works as a team - Mr. Crump often cares for the children during the day, which allows Mrs. Crump to advocate for other children in the child care system. Their dedication to improving the l ives of special needs children serves as an example to all.
