Sharon has started a nonprofit organization called Children of War, Children of Hope, Inc. The purpose of this organization is to facilitate the development of adoption procedures in war-torn nations. In other words, she works with governments that come of civil wars and rebellions to help them develop a system that allows their orphans to be adopted.
