For George and Brenda Ball, the adoption process began over 19 years ago. SInce that time, George and Brenda have been foster parents for 48 children and have adopted 8 children of their own. All of their adopted children have special needs. Their goal is to make sure that every child is loved, safe, and cared for. Their dedication has earned them recognition by the North Carolina Division of Social Services as Adoptive Parents of the Year. George is retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Forsyth County school system and Brenda was employed at Piedmont Airlines before becoming a full-time foster parent. Brenda currently assists as co-leader with social workers each week to assist in training of new foster parents in the community. Their kindness, compassion, and love for children and dedication to making children's lives better one child at a time is why we are so pleased to honor them as our Angels in Adoption (tm).
